CRIMINAL MINDS NEEDS A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE!
Criminal Minds: Fred Thompson an actor on "Law & Order" is planning to run for President in the next election. Which Criminal Minds star would make a good President? President Gubler, President Patinkin, President Gibson, President Moore, President Brewster, President Cook or President Vangsness? And why?

of course it has to be presidant patinkin for me,as mandy has done a lot of public speaking and as a democrate surporter has surported others who have run for ofice etc ,he is also a good friend of mark green ,who is involed in politics in new york, I can just see mandy as president.boy would he be good at it....
My first choice would be Kirsten. I think we need someone real and honest and genuinely loving and sure of herself. And someone who would shake things up. Can't you just see her signing some oh-so-solemn law with a puffy pink pen?

If you're talking the characters, no question: Hotchner for President!
President Garcia please. Garcia would cut to the chase and get the job done.
And I don't see her as a war monger!
NOT President Gubler, no, just trust me. Although he does have the family background for it which matters in this day and age..but no, just..no.
Probably President Gibson. Thats who I would go for. Although I would LOVE a woman Presient so in that case Paget Brewster. But I really think President Gibson is the best choice. He has a stable family life and looks great in a suit. LOL

I vote for President Moore. So that I can be the First Lady.
At first I was thinking Reid, as he would be the best looking president the US ever saw!
However, if I wanted to be more realistic it would be a tie between Hotch and Gideon. I think they would both be great.
And JJ would make an excellent candidate for the person who is charge of the media for the president.
President Garcia! I like the sound of that. Where does she stand on the issues? I bet she would let us travel to Cuba again. They have great eclectic jewelery and such.
President Moore. I think that sounds really good. We would finally have a President who is not only muiscal but can dance and tell the truth!
President Gideon sounds good to me but he has too much negative baggage to get elected.
President Hotchner is a better reality. He has a family and a clean record.
Stop the presses. I want President Garcia but she isn't even allowed into the CIA headquarters because she is on a list.
We need to get her off the list and then she would be a great choice. She would definately put education at the top of her list. She drives a gas guzzling car so she would work on reducing the price of gasoline.
I am convinced and she has my VOTE!
We need to break a barrier, whether it is racially, reigiously or gender based. Nancy Pelosi helped elevate women. A female in the White House would really seal the deal. I am going with President Brewster. She has political connections via her mom. She looks great in a suit and she is very intelligent.
I think A.J. would be a great President because she already knows how to deal with the press and work a room and politics is all about working a room.
Sorry but I am sticking with President Gideon.

Hotch for Pres
Garcia for Vice Pres
Gideon for Sec of State
JJ is Press Sec
Prentiss is Chief of Staff
and Reid......he picks the coffee and maybe he is an ambassador!

I would vote for Hotchner. Infact I just mowed the lawn and you can come put a campaign sign in it!
I would vote for Mandy Patinkin for President. I think he has character and a great moral compass.
Are we suggesting characters or the actors for the job of President? I am confused.
If it the actor then Kirsten without a doubt.
If it the character then Garcia without a doubt!
Aw, well, it can't be President Cook, because she was born in Canada. If I could vote, it would be President Gibson. He looks so stately in those suits. I wouldn't miss a presidential address, even when it preempted my favourite shows.
I want to do both please. I think Hotchner is level headed and would make a great President. If we are talking about the actors then you have to plant a PATINKIN FOR PRESIDENT sign in my yard.

I love Gube but nooooooo. Although he would be better than Bush (that is not saying much)
I love Kirsten but noooooo. She is too honest and nice to be President.
I think they are all too honest and trustworthy for the job. I say how about Hillary?
President Vangsness would be cool. I can just pictures of her meeting foreign heads of state with chopsticks holding up her hair. What would she wear to her first State of the Union? I am thinking some real unique outfit. As far as scheduling her TV talks to the nation, I think she would do them in the middle of some hot show that is not cbs. I vote for KV!
I tried all day to think of one reason to recommend MGG but ... I got nothin'. He's too young, anyhow.
Thomas Gibson would be great. He has small children at home, so he already knows exactly how to deal with Congressmen ... heh!

Mandy has been the one with the social conscience for a long time. He would be great. I would like to see Thomas run though because he would be a cute President.
Plant a sign in my yard for the Gube. I think Matthew could be a fun President. I can see it now. We would have Youtube videon of him in the situation room. Or stealing treasures from Buckingham Palace when he visited the Queen. lol.
Thomas looks the part of a young dynamic President. I can see him and his family on the campaign trail. I wonder if he is a Dem or Rep?
Kirsten, Matthew and AJ are too young and AJ is a Canadian so she is automatically out.
That leaves us with Shemar, Thomas and Mandy. I will vote for whichever one of them you can convince to run!
You forgot Paget Maura! I think Mandy would be the logical choice.
Gubler as President. I love him but do I really want him to have the launch sequence codes to our nuclear weapons! lol

a President Vangsness would decree that every day is "National Find Your Inner Child Day";
a President Brewster would decree that everyone learn how to pronounce her first name correctly;
a President Moore would decree that everyone get a six-pack abs or at the very least, a six-pack of beer;
a President Gubler would decree that everyone wears mismatched socks, we could use the luck;
a President Cook would decree that everyone learn to sing the National anthem....the Canadian one;
a President Patinkin would decree that everyone sings the National Anthem....in Yiddish;
and President Gibson would decree that everyone sings the National Antehm and just get the words right.

Kirsten may be young but she is honest and loyal. That beats out half of the politicans out there today.
Although I love the Gube, for President I would have to back Mandy. I think Mandy could successfully negotiate and mend international relations that have been strained lately.
Now Gube for Vice President, yeah....Patinkin/Gubler would bring in the votes. Hit all major target voters...and I think here in Ohio, a huge hit.
I love Mandy and he would make a great President! I don't have a yard but I would be willing to be one of those annoying people who stands on a street corner waving a VOTE FOR sign as drivers pass by!

Unfortunately, (going on what little knowledge I have about them) I have to say none of them.
Def. should be PAGET BREWSTER for Prez. (or Emily Prentiss if we are doing the characters). She knows all the languages, has been to the diff. coountries, and is super smart FBI agent. We need to have a female in office at least once. And if not Paget then AJ COOK. She is from Canada and knows how to handle the press and other peeps.
I think Thomas Gibson (Hotchner) started wearing different kind of shades in Criminal Minds: Season 6, Episode 24 Supply and Demand. Does any one know what they might be?
